Diplomatic Winter Bazaar in Sarajevo 2017

Mineco was delighted to be the principle commercial sponsor at this year’s Diplomatic Winter Bazaar (DWB) held in Sarajevo. The bazaar is the largest diplomatic event in the country and aims to bring the international and local Bosnian community closer together. The DWB has become a popular place to sample international cuisine and learn about different customs and cultures, displayed at over sixty stands, of which forty are organised by the individual embassies.

A total of 185,000 KM (approximately 95,000€) has been raised at this years’ DWB and will go towards several charities for children across Bosnia over the next year. Mr Ismar Sabović, General Manager of Mineco’s subsidiary Geomet d.o.o spoke to a prominent audience, which included Prime Minister Novalić, the Mayor of Sarajevo Mr Abdullah Skaka and several diplomatic and political representatives. It was a great event and we thank the organisers for their efforts.
